If you set up your configuration correctly, your settlement rule will default and will not require any administration. Additionally, if you use the menu path in a Maintenance Order: Extras > Settings > Default values you may find additional data you can default.

I tried creating Model Order (T-code KOT2). However when I tried to create the Maintenance Order (IW31), with reference to the Model Order, I got error message "Order Type cannot be used for maintenance order". I tried creating the model order with Order Type $$, and then my own creation. Is there anyway I can create a Model Order to be used with Maintenance Order? If Model Order cannot be used here, any other alternative I can use? Basically I want to see if I can give my users template (particularly for the settlement rules and any other accounts assignment) so they don't have enter one everytime there is a Maintenance Order. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Suri | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
