Sap Sale Module: RE:[sap-log-sd] PR02 Cannot be Used for Group Condition. Why Not?

I am guessing the answer...We use VK31for mass maintenance of records and in mass maintenance but VK11 is for specific records. We have the validity period and release status for PR02 table 304 in access seq. PR02, but in PR00 we do not have that those. So, for mass maintenance, we cannot hold or release the price, but probably for individual records we can.... Am I right or partly right or totally wrong? :D

SAP documentation says - Interval Price condition type PR02 cannot be used for group condition. Why not?
