RE:[sap-log-sd] Data Migration of Closed Sales Orders

Hi Sarat,

I agree that certain sales order - which might be still relevant for returns e.g. returns before 90 days from delivery - are important to move to the new SAP system (not to BW). But why only these sales orders? Why not the related deliveries and billing document too?

To create a return, user / business might want to use a billing document of one of these relevant sales orders, would that be available in the new SAP system? How would the user proceed, in the above case?

Dilip mentioned - "we configured a new order type with no delivery and billing capabilities.
And loaded those closed sales orders." Therefore my request to give some more information.

Thank you, in advance!

Subject: Data Migration of Closed Sales Orders

Dear Mr. Typewriter,

Closed SOs are those for which AR is complete, hence they don't have any relevance except for MIS. But, when we are migrating, there could be certain sales orders which might be still relevant for returns. eg: returns before 90 days from delivery.

So, it is very important that we capture this data.

Warm regards,
Saratvamsi
