I had this requirement too for a client. Both (actually 3) Ship To (i.e. factories which were SH To addresses) were in different locations and different in size, for each of them the sales representative was different.
With a particular SH To, system had to extract the partner function of the correct sales representative & populate that in the sales order. Further this information was then taken to the delivery and billing document.
