SAP now offers this functionality as standard in the EHP-5 upgrade.

Subject: Custom's Declaration Number in RU
There is a 16 digit alphanumeric number(called Customs Declaration Number or GTD)to be tracked right from the time the material is imported (GR via Customs) to Russia till the time it reaches the customer(Invoice).
Cannot use Batch or Text in this case, also Export Import model (last I looked) does not give you the range of 26 characters in any field.
There is no splitting this field on any basis as the numbers are generated by Russian Customs.
This number changes with each imported load and the sale of the materials has to have the exact numbers for legal purposes.
For Eg. If 500 units of material A have 1 GTD number, once the 500 units are exhausted, then the next 500 units have to automatically pick up the next GTD number.
Need ideas on how this is or can be best tracked without development. |
