RE:[sap-log-sd] BOM header price

Hi Claudio,

Thank you for sharing information regarding "Displays"!

It says that no standard solution exists and extensive pricing routines and copy controls are required.

1) Could please comment on the below question -
In standard BOM, pricing is either done at main item level or sub item level. This is controlled at item category (VOV7) leve. In "Displays" do we have pricing at both these levels? Does that mean that in VOV7 both item categories are relevant for pricing? and in a sales order, at both item levels, Tab Condition, pricing can be seen?

2) In your post -
Point 2 says Main item's price is calculated based on the pricing of the subitems. On the other hand, in Standard solution, it talks about TAQ as main item category, that means pricing is done at Main item level and thus NOT based on the pricing of the subitem level. Could you clarify this point?

3) Could you comment on your advise to G? i.e. is there a way to achieve this business requirement and how?

G,
Have you found a way to achieve your business requirement? Please share, it might help.

Subject: BOM header price

Hi,

We are using the Sales BOM, pricing is at header/main item. We want the price distributed to the components (ratio by quantity), for statistical value. Is there a standard condition type/config for this?
