Hi, To add to the views of our experts who already responded to you, one basic issue is misrepresentation. By changing the plant for entire 100 quantity, you are saying that the entire stock has been delivered by one plant which is not the case. I believe the solution they have provided is the prudent, from perspective of all departments. Warm regards, Saratvamsi "Your attempt may fail, but never fail to make an attempt."

Since you were aware of the reason why you have opted plantB but how would you communicate the same to the system. As suggested change the quantity from 100MT to 16MT in the sales order and enter a new line item for the same material for the balance to be delivered 84MT from plantB in the sales order. Since you are opting the delivery to be happen from PlantB manually enter the plant code for the balance quantity 84MT in the sales order. For accountability, after changing the quantity enter an order reason for the initial line item (which the quantity has been changed from 100MT to 16MT) so that you can pull the list sales orders with that particular reason which helps for business analysis purpose. Hope this would help you understand why and why not. Thanks, Vamsi | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
