Newbie - The part about your question that really scares me is "The DN actually being deleted from LIKP n LIPS through background." If by that, you mean that someone wrote a program that directly modified the LIKP and LIPS tables, then you have serious trouble coming. The developer who created that program, and the person who told the developer that this was the requirement, should first be executed and then be fired. It's a cardinal rule in programming for SAP - you never, NEVER modify the tables directly, when you can use other acceptable techniques to get the desired results. SAP does not publish information about the relationships between tables, or what a programmer needs to keep in mind to do this safely. Now, my assumption could be incorrect. You could actually mean that the delivery is being deleted by a BDC call to VL02, or a BAPI, or some other acceptable means. In that case, you could still see the delivery in MD04 after it was correctly deleted - these things happen. For that reason, SAP has delivered program SDRQCR21 to correct the inconsistency in the VBBx tables that cause things to show up in MD04. Dave
