[sap-log-sd] Customer Hierarchy

We are going to use customer hierarchy in our implementation project. A table exists in the legacy system that need to matched into SAP customer hierarchy. Do we use t-code XD03 or V-12 for the conversion? How the partner function determination works during conversion?
