The error is solved thankfully, but i am still unable to post stock... the new error is Period 008/2011 is not open for account type S and G/L 799999
Message no. F5286. How do I resolve it?

When I am trying to correct the entry in OBYC, i get an error "No changes for user SAP* allowed; Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'."
Please help.
