One explanation is the balance on the rebate in VBO3 shows what's actually been accrued vs. paid. The final settlement is for the amount that should've been accrued (based on any changes to the rebate agreements or configuration) vs what was paid. Not sure if that's the reason in your case, but it's one that commonly causes such differences

VBO3 showed me that my Variable Rebate had a balance of $13,961.98 but when I issued the Final Settlement, the Credit Memo that SAP created was only for $13,958.65. What happened to the other $3.33? Why would the amount of the credit memo not match the balance? |
