Where you assign Route in customer master? - need some clarification.

Shipping conditions will only be taken from the customer master in route
determination. If your SP and SH are different shipping conditions will be
taken from the Sh(Ship-to-party) but not from SP(Sold-to-party).

Please check:

Material master - Transportation group
Shipping point - Transportation zone

Check all the above points that are mapped correctly to determine route.
