Yes, you can have one credit control area assigned to 9 company codes with different currencies.

E.g.

C C Area = ZZZ1, its currency = EUR
Co cd Europe = Z100, its curr = EUR, Co Cd USA = Z300, its curr = $

Assign both co cds to cc area.
Extend CMR (C1) to both Co cd and Sales areas.
Do relevant settings in OVA8 and FD32 for customer C1

Now your single cc a i.e. ZZZ1 is controlling the credit limit for C1 if it is operating in Co Cd Europe Z100 & if it is operating in USA Z300.
In sales orders depending upon the sales area chosen, you shall receive Warning (can be configured) Credit limit exceed in Euros or $.

In FD32, credit details shall be shown in the currency you have chosen there.

I have tested this, thereafter I have drafted this post.
