In VOV8, under general control; Check credit limit is assigned is 'D' i.e;
Credit Management: Automatic credit control.
In VOV7, 'credit active' was not marked. So. I have marked it now.
Also, In OVA8 under 'reaction' it has been marked 'B' : Error message.
But after doing all that and making a new sales order with exceeding amount.
Couldn't get the desired result.

Check the sales order type and item category (VOV7, VOV8).

Also check that you have the warning correctly configured in OVA8.
