[sap-log-sd] What possible reasons would cause my GI posting to fail?

Let's say I am going through the sales order process (SD module) and I get all the way to the end of the process without any errors and when I attempt to post my GI for the Delivery Order, the posting fails. What possible reasons would cause my GI posting to fail?
