Hi MT,

Currently price is maintained in unit = PAC (Packets).
You want to have sales orders with unit = PC (pieces).

Go to MM02 > Sales: Sales Org 1;
In General date, Field "Base Unit of Measure" give PAC (for Packets)
& in field "Sales unit" give PC (for pieces)

2. Press Enter
3. Pop-up appears, to make conversion. Here give 6 PC = 1 PAC
4. Save
5. Create sales order & test price conversion.

By the above, sales order shall automatically issue in PC (sales unit), valuation shall be done in PAC (base unit of measure)

Thank you,

PS - You can NOT change the "base unit of measure", but this is no problem, as you donot want to do that.

Subject: Changing unit of issue

Hi Expert

I need to change unit of issue to be different from the order unit. The material is already valuated and I need to make the necessary changes.

I have 3Pack of six units in Stores=18 PCS. What procedure do I need to follow to make the changes in the material master since the price maintained is for a packet but I issue in pieces?

Cheers

MT
