As far as I know, you cannot use status profile for this purpose. But you can check below link to see the full configuration process on status profile.

I'd like to know is it possible to block request be transferred is we using status profile for sales order? I've test this in system, however, every time I can find order number in MD04, please share your knowledge to me if there is any experts know the solutions.
