You can also give the delivery block reason for that particular customer in
customer master data.

Limitations:

1. Manually need to update for the set of customers(master data maintenance)
2 No time frame for this block. - Soon after you want the customer
deliveries to happen, need to undo the changes manually.

You could create a customer calendar and assign it to the receiving point of those customers so that it will skip that time period when proposing delivery dates.
