I'm not saying that. Look at the material master in the sales org 1 view and there is a field called delivering plant. If that is blank then it's taking your last one as default but it needs a value if there are multiple plants involved.

Thanks for your response.
Please let me know if I understood you correctly. When we create the material for the first time, the plant in which it is created is taken as default plant during the sales order, even after we extend the material to other plants.
But, the issue is, it is not taking the default plant. It is taking the plant to which the material has been extended in the last. It is a bit weird, but I'm sure there must be some logic.
