Hi Typewriter,
We are doing implementation project for a Dealership Industry, and in sales
documents CMIR Number is extra field on Item details--> Additional data
tab as my client does not want the customers who only know the material
number, these customer should not know about the make for the material if
customer only knows the number of material

2-1602:Kawasaki. In this case Kawasaki is the make, customer only know
{2-1602} so this number 2-1602 will be copied to the CMIR number field and
this only will come on Delivery and billing docs as CMIR Number

What was the business need for - adding this extra column?

Is it better visibility & ease for end-user, while creating & maintaining condition records? Or are there more benefits?

E.g.
Material = M-100
Customer material number = 5231

in condition record - with this new, extra column -
M-100 | 5231 | 100- |eur| EA | etc.....
Therefore, better overview & can check from material & cust-mat "perspectives"; in one screen.
