Thank-you for making my mail helpful. This CMIR was the special demand of
our client as such they do not want to disclose the Make if in case the
customer do not know, as there are alternative materials for the same
material and client can provide replaceable material for the same to the
customer.
For Example: Customer demands for Material number 2-1633 which is of
Kawasaki Make as well as Santui Make, in case Stock is not available with
the client of material 2-1633 of Kawasaki Make in that case hey can Provide
the customer with replaceable Santui Make. In that case customer need is
fulfilled however the customer only know the number and he will never come
to know the there exist an alternative make for this material.

1. CMIR field with CM # - If I understand correctly, in sales order, item level, tab [Additional data A or B], CMIR field (for CM #) is not available in Standard SAP; your team built it as it was a special request from your client.
2. CM #, On dlv note & billing doc - Printing / making CM # available on dlv note & billing doc, could that be done in standard functionality or this was specially made?
