RE:[sap-log-sd] Item Category TAD not Defined

Hi Payal,

I tried to test this issue in various ways (controls at item category level, copy control from order to delivery type etc.) But still could not overcome the error (mentioned by you).

Please consider creating a copy of TAN and using that for Service related items to create delivery notes. In your item category ZTAN, you can give billing relevance = B order related billing. In your schedule line you can keep Movt. type = Blank, Availability check = Blank and Relevant for delivery = Activated.
By this way you could create a delivery note.

Let us hope that some members could give you the answer to - going forward with TAD and field "Item Relev. for Dlv"

At item category level (VOV7), field Item Relev. for Dlv helps in creating a delivery note (print paper) for text and or NON deliverable items. I think Payal is trying to get a print paper of the delivery note or a delivery note for administrative purpose for a NON deliverable item.

I have created a sales order with item category TAD for services. I have maintained in item category TAD relevant for delivery. But while creating outbound delivery (vl01n) I am getting error message as follow:

Item category TAD is not defined, so item 000010 will be disregarded

Please help.
Thanks and regards,
