Hi Sarat, Changing of % cash discount, depending upon payment date by customer, is not an issue & shall NOT be as difficult as you are estimating. Certainly you do NOT have to reverse / undo the entire process (go back to sales order) one of the reasons is you can NOT manually change SKTO. It is just a matter of getting the information from experts - in this forum or in Accounting forum - about this. Please study carefully OBB8 (from my previous post; the question for which we need more information) e.g. Payment Terms Z001 - 10% discount if paid within 5 days; 7% discount if paid within 20days (of posting date) The sales order, SKTO picks up 10% automatically. This also goes to the billing document. If the customer pays on the 15th day, then 10% has to be CHANGED to 7%, how and where and by whom is this done? Please ask this in the accounting forum (as Dave has suggested) also, other things are clear. About the additional requirement - Explain - "If they dont pay within 5 days, the discount automatically has to be converted into 3% rebate to be paid every quarter." Thank you!

We both ended at the same point. The tricky part is, a customer might specify payment term 1 at the time of SO and it gets billed (after delivery), but if he doesn't pay up within the specified time, the payment terms need to automatically change to 2. The only way I could see is to reverse the entire process and start again with new payment terms. Given the fact that this scenario occurs more than often in clients business, is going to be a nightmare. And to add to the above requirement I have one more scenario where in one particular customer group bets billed at flat 5% cash discount. If they dont pay within 5 days, the discount automatically has to be converted into 3% rebate to be paid every quarter. Your views are most appreciated.
