Hi Syamala, Thank you for this interesting question! SAP has presented us with some standard processes and also given the configuration for them. Please take note that this is SAP's way of "looking at these processes" (and mostly correct). Now to try and reason why SAP has made - Case Sale order related and Rush Order delivery related - 1. Delivery related billing is done, when ONLY after PGI, thereby knowing how many units of goods have left the warehouse, then based on that quantity billing document needs to be created. For example Sales order created for 10EA of TV. But 8EA was delivered this month. So here important is ACTUAL delivered TVs. Therefore here SAP chooses delivery related billing. In standard OTC process delivery related billing is used. 2. Rush order - As Vamsi and naresh have mentioned, Rush order process could be thought of OTC process but expedited (in fast past). Therefore here delivery related billing is done. (reason is point 1) 3. Cash sale - Customer pays cash at the time of order creation. Customer says he wants 10EA of TV and he pays for 10EA of TV. Thus Order quantity in sales order is ALWAYS EQUAL TO quantity PGI, therefore billing document is created based on order (and not on delivery). e.g. If customer says 10EA of TV, but then changes his mind to 12EA of TV then the sales order quantity is changes from 10EA to 12EA and then customer pays the cash. Thus always order quantity = quantity PGI (or quantity leaving the warehouse). If something is unclear, please convey it.
