I think Text determination would be the way to go ahead with your requirement. Going with "Partner description" solution is tricky and more work.

Assume ALL 11digits shall be used.
"This is mainly for reporting purpose and not required for pricing. It represents a field in their legacy system and client wants to continue it because their current record keeping and certain manual process is based on the report generated using that fields."

We want to add a field in customer master that should flow to sales order. This field is price related in client's legacy system but we don't use in ECC 6.0's pricing procedure.
How do we add fields in customer master? How to select related table and program?
