I understood, what you said. First, we need to configure item category in
sales doct ( in vov7). Then, automatically, it gets reflected in 0VLP.
(also, tested this.)

To add some more detail to your post, the creation (preferable way is to copy from an existing standard item category) of item category has to be done in VOV7. (as I mentioned in my earlier post)

During testing, I encountered, if I try to create a delivery item category in 0VLP (zeroVLP), by copying TAN, I get the error message received by the thread owner. Thus my above explanation - first create order item category. And by doing that the delivery item category (in 0VLP) shall be automatically created.

I think we have suggested the same thing :)
