I think, this error can be avoided, if you 'copy' item category TAN & then
configure it according to your needs.

The description of Table TVPT is Sales documents: Item category.

The system - via the message - is telling the user to create the item category in VOV7. Thus go to VOV7 and create the order item category.

Thereafter, you would see - in 0VLP (zeroVLP) - that delivery item category is also created.

Please test and let us know the result.

FYI - for every delivery item category, the prerequisite is that an identical order item category must ALREADY be created. This is necessary for correct functioning of billing relevance, relevance for schedule lines, pricing etc.

In line with the same concept, Schedule line category is also mandatory; as it gives the Movt. type, in other words connection between delivery and IM.
