Example from my company: We use the intercompany drop ship process. Commercial operation will enter the sales order, and deliver from a plant which belongs to another company code. After delivery/PGI there is a customer F2 invoice which picks up all the pricing from the sales order and uses the same pricing procedure. There is then an intercompany IV invoice between the supplying plant and the commercial operation based on fixed transfer pricing which uses a separate pricing procedure. From a top level, it's the same process, although strictly speaking it's an indirect link to the original sales order. Was that the kind of thing you were after? Can't think of too many reasons why you'd want a separate pricing procedure, there's usually another way to go for most requirements.

I have got few examples, below mentioned; but it is still not clear to me - One good example is - http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?messageID=71 72928#7172928 Re: Different pricing procedures on Sales order and billing documents Posted: Mar 10, 2009 3:17 PM in response to: raj savi Reply Hi, This will work only in this scenario only suppose you ordered before buget and you are billed after buget where new tax is implemented and you want the new tax condition type to be implemented then you want to set a new PP in Billing doc type. second example - http://sap.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/sap-log-sd/pricing-problem-in-sales-order-and-billing-973698 many thanks! | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
