POSTING PERIOD VARIANT can be obtained from the *OBY6* transaction code for
your company code.

in *OB52* open the posting periods for the Account type S

The error is solved thankfully, but i am still unable to post stock... the new error is Period 008/2011 is not open for account type S and G/L 799999
Message no. F5286. How do I resolve it?
