Bhushanh -

We can't give you a step by step procedure; you don't even know what you want yet. We can't tell you what you need to do - only a thorough understanding of your business would help someone give you the proper advice. Those people are called Functional [analysts or specialists or pick your favorite title], or they're called consultants. Either way, they cost money.

If someone here on the forum does try to give you a solution, keep in mind how much you paid for it.

As for the customers, extending them to the new company and creating them in the new company are the same thing. How you want to go about doing that depends a lot on the volume, and on how good your developers are at assisting the business departments.

Subject: New Company Code in ECC6

Hi,

I have created a new company code in SAP.

Now I want to extend my customers and vendors so that I do not have to recreate them in new company. How do I do it?

Do I need to create a new sales organization as well in new company code?

Do I need to create a new purchasing organization in new company code?

Please help. A step by step procedure is very much appreciated.
