Similar error was reported by my support project and I found root cause was
due to Z-development programme on item category determination. So error was
due to my project specific enhancement. So there is no basic root cause for
this type of error. But you may check as below mentioned....
1. please find few old invoice correction request and see what is status of
debit item .. is it editable or not. ?
2. If you have any z-development related to plant determination or item
category determination, kindly request you to check...
3. Root cause of this error may be from item catagory group maintained in
material master... this can be checked.
4. Please create few more invoice correction request by different material
having different item category group ..
Please check all these which may help you to find out root cause..

Hi all,
When creating an invoice correction request (RK) with reference to an invoice, most of the time I am able to edit the pricing on debit line items and successfully create the correction request. But in some cases I am not able to edit the debit line items, all the filed in the pricing are grayed out. It appears very random as in which cases it is happening so.
I checked all the fields starting from item categories, document type, statuses and I don't see any difference from the ones where I was able to successfully create the correction request.
One more case is that, I tried to create correction request for an invoice with 3 line items. It created 3 credit lines and 3 debit lines. Of the 3 debit lines, I am able to edit only one of them the rest 2 are grayed out.
I am not able to figure out what going on there. Any help would be highly appreciated.
