[sap-log-sd] Unit of measure convertion

Hello,

can some one advise me how to maintain unit of measure in proper way?
Production is in meters and they sale in kg.

If i fix some rate in material master data /additional data tab/, when i
make delivery always have message for deficite in batch. Even i have more
then enough quantity.
