To answer the question below, I confirmed that customer group ZEG1 is NOT a copy of customer account group = 0001. I created customer group ZEG1 from scratch.

Hi Walt,

SAP advises when ever possible, create by copying a standard entity (e.g. acc gr) & then modify it to suit your requirement.

In other words, donot create from scratch (if possible).

2. Please try a small test -
Create CMR in XD01 with acc gr 0001. Create sales order & check if you are getting the error message.

Let us know the results.

Subject: Error Message in Creating a Sales Order

Hi SAP SD experts,

Here are two screen shots on the error message "no customer master record exists for sold-to party 100086".

In addition I created another new customer master record altogether in a different sales area. I received the same error message. My pricing routine works, at least no error message.

To answer the question below, I confirmed that customer group ZEG1 is NOT a copy of customer account group = 0001. I created customer group ZEG1 from scratch.

I need suggestions as to where I specifically need to look in SD to see what may be causing this error.

Thank you,

Regards,

Walt
