Giada's solution seems a valid one. Though would you still want the sales order to hold the stock even though the delivery is not made within a period?
I suppose you are using XD99!!
I am not in SAP, but you could add some extra function via a userexit to add a delivery block on the sales order. If you want to you can also add your own customised fields ( from date to date blocked) to the customer master too and have the userexit reference these values for the delivery block to be active in the sales order.

We have a huge amount of customers, happy we are isn't it ? But some of them will be close during the summer period. If we send goods to them we have to paid for the goods delivery and for the stock during the period (stock in the deliveries companies).
How we could specify in SAP the period when it is required not to deliver those customers ?
Actually we have an Excel sheet with the start and ending date for each customers and we set the block delivery code manually.
