I agree with you a 100%.

My "slight misunderstanding" was due to 2 reasons -
1- in the past, sometimes Waza has provided "spot-on" solutions. The members would only have to pass on those solutions to their ABAP staff. I was expecting in those lines.
2- my beginner level knowledge w.r.t. Userexits, BAdi etc.

Typewriter finding the user exit is not the issue. Proof of concept is how to get to the instance of Text Object and invoke few methods to read the content. Rest is mere filler .
