OVAH is the TCode where you can configure the behaviour of the message
(Error/Warning).

Hi Jan,

Like Vamsi advised in VD51 create cust-mat info record (e.g.customer 112768, CNF5678899 material), Go to detailed level by double-clicking that line/record, in field "Minimum delivery qty" (e.g. =1000 PC).

You create a Sales order for this cust-material combination, system shall allow you to create with any quantity (e.g. 50 or 2500 PC).
say sales order with less than min delivery quantity; then during creation of delivery, you can configure the system so that -
- You shall get a warning message, & create the delivery number
- Or You shall get an error message & cannot create the del number
This you can do in 0VLP, field "Check minimum qty" = A, B etc.

In MM02, Sales: sales org. 1 you can specify - for a MATERIAL - Min. order quantity. During the making of a sales order, if quantity is less than min, you shall get a warning message.
I do not know how to convert that warning message to an error message. Some expert here can surely help with that.
