Sounds like you need 'sales order' stock.

Hi All
I have a following scenario
Sales order is created manually and when created storage location is updated manually by the user. Once order is saved purchase req is triggered and PO is created in 10 mins by batch job. procurement folks then go and change the storage location on PO to a different one and receive the actual goods in that location. So at this point my PO and SO has different locations. User wants to change the storage location on SO to match it with PO. But as there is a PO created system doesn't allow to make this change?
Do we have any option to make the storage location editable on order even though the PO is created?
The reason they want to do this is there is specific auditing reqt where they want to know the stock of each sales order and its storage location so that the stock inspection can be done. |
