Hi Roger,

Yes, you can create a delivery (for a sales order) without any stock check.

Furthermore, a delivery can be created (f.e. 80016227) even if there is no stock (or insufficient stock) of that material. & during "Posts goods issue" you shall get a message - Message no. 7021 "Deficit of SL Unrestricted-use XX EA: Material Plant Slocation". Depending upon the settings, this message could be a warning or an error, thus if it is a warning you could proceed further, if it is an error message you can not proceed further.

Important note is that the material has to be "extended" (or created) for that plant, storage location combination. In connection with the (plant) & storage location entered in the delivery or else you shall get the error message - "Material not in plant, storage location".
